Love Power

Love is the most transforming power of human life.

Through my career, I have listened to story after story of how couples met and later married. Some of those stories have stayed with me because they reveal something extraordinary about the power of love.

A man sees a woman crossing the street and instead of continuing on his way, he turns around, double parks his car, and searches from store to store until he finds her.

Another sees a woman while traveling down the highway and is compelled to take a chance that changes the course of his life.

Another sees a woman in a parking lot and tells his mother, “I found my wife,” before ever speaking to her.

These stories go on and on.

Something moved them.

Something inspired them to act.

Something caused them to change direction and pursue a future they could not yet see.

That is the power of love.
