Virginia Marriage License
Has Changed
No more race question
As of now, Virginia is no longer requiring couples to disclosed their race on the VA marriage license application. It’s optional.
But why did it take three couples who sued, for this change to happen? Everyone should have some privacy rights. Kudos to the couples who took a stand.
They have made it easy for other couples to do the same.
I love change.
